Leopards back to PSL

Black Leopards retained their elite league status in South African football. Lidoda Duvha won their third promotion/relegation playoff match, beating Ajax Capetown 2-0 at Rand Stadium.

They are at the top of three-team log with 9 points from their 3 matches.

The third promotion/relegation play-off match saw Leopards taking on Ajax Capetown that were on top of log with goal difference before today’s clash,

They were counting on their talisman, Mwape Musonda, to lead the line once again.

Lidoda Duvha had a chance to open the scoring, but in vain. However, moments later, Isaac Masia made it 1-0 to Leopards. Lidoda duvha were firing from all cylinders, that saw Urban Warriors struggling to penetrate Leopards defence.

Leopards kept on probing, but Ajax seemed to have all the answers this time. The goalkeepers were called into action in the later stages of the match.

On the 79 minutes of the game, Musonda doubled Leopards leads to secure their PSL status.

On Monday afternoon, TTM who are at the bottom of the standings after losing their three encounters will take on Leopards to complete the relegation/promotion games.
