Kaizer Chiefs winless run continues

The Soweto giants snapped their three-match losing run, but they have now failed to win their last six competitive matches

SuperSport United came back to hold a struggling Kaizer Chiefs side to a 1-1 draw in a PSL match which was played at FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Amakhosi opened the scoring through Reeve Frosler, who netted his maiden goal of the season, but Bradley Grobler levelled matters for Matsatsantsa from the penalty spot.

The Glamour Boys were hoping to snap their five-match winless run having succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to AmaZulu FC in a league game at home in midweek.

Coach Gavin Hunt made wholesale changes as he recalled Anthony Akumu, Willard Katsande, Njabulo Blom, Bernard Parker and Leonardo Castro to the starting line-up.
