Usuthu to host wounded TTM.

AmaZulu FC will square off with Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) in the DStv Premiership match at the Kings Park Stadium on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 15h30 CAT.

Usuthu claimed a 1-0 victory over Chippa United in their last game which was played at Sisa Dukashe Stadium on March 10 courtesy of a penalty from Tapelo Xoki.

It was the KwaZulu Natal giants’ third successive win in the league and they also extended their unbeaten run to nine games in this competition.

AmaZulu have claimed 18 points from 10 home matches this season, with their last result as hosts a 1-0 win over SuperSport United earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Tshakhuma suffered a 2-1 defeat to Lamontville Golden Arrows in their last match which was took placed at the Thohoyanodu Stadium on March 10.

Alfred Ndengane netted TTM’s consolation goal as the team’s three-game unbeaten run came to an end after losing to Arrows.

Tshakhuma have claimed seven points from nine away matches this season, with their last result on the road a 1-1 draw at Swallows FC earlier this month.

In head-to-head stats, AmaZulu and Tshakhuma have met in just one previous top-flight league match.

That encounter took place earlier this season, at Thohoyandou Stadium in December 2020, and saw a 1-1 draw.

Usuthu led through Luvoyo Memela, whille TTM levelled through Rhulani Manzini.
