Bafana Bafana vs Sudan Starting 11

After back-to-back victories over Sao Tome and Principe in November last year, Bafana retained their second spot in Group C after playing to a 1-1 draw with Ghana on Thursday.

A point in Thursday’s penultimate match was enough to see the Black Stars qualify as one of the two teams in the group.

On the other hand, Sudan boosted their chances of qualifying with a 1-0 win over Ghana in November last year and a 2-0 win over Sao Tome and Principe on Wednesday.

As a result, Sudan are just one point behind Bafana and Ghana in third place and victory will see them qualify while South Africa need to avoid defeat to book their spot in the finals.

Bafana beat Sudan 1-0 in matchday two back in November 2019 at Orlando Stadium courtesy of a goal by Lebogang Phiri.

Kick-off is at 18h00.

Confirmed line-ups:

Bafana: Williams, Hlatshwayo, Maela, Xulu, Monare, Motshwari, Morena, Zwane, Maboe, Singh, Tau

Subs: Khune, Hlanti, Martin, Kutumela, Phete, Mbule, Gamildien, Nodada, Mvala, Lebusa, Pule, Foster Reports Kickoff.com
