“We need to get results,” says Hlatshwayo
Thulani Hlatshwayo says Orlando Pirates must be ‘tactically and defensively good’ in their CAF Confederation Cup group stage clash with Al-Ahli Benghazi on Sunday.
Bucs are on top of Group A with four points from two games, one better off than Enyimba in second and third-placed Al-Ahly, with ES Setif propping up the standings.
Josef Zinnbauer’s drew 0-0 with Setif before defeating Enyimba 2-1 in their opening two group encounters.
They come into this tie having last lost 1-0 to rivals Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto derby and with some players involved in the recently completed FIFA international competition week.
Ahead of the match, Hlatshwayo said in the Citizen: “We’ve seen with the first game that we played against ES Setif (playing away is difficult).
“For us, we need to get a result and with the experience that we have and the players that have been in the competition before, what we need to do is to make sure that we get a result. Whether it’s a point or three points.
“We have to make sure that tactically and defensively we are good.
