Happy Jele Rewarded with contract extension

The 33 years old Happy Jele extended his at Orlando Pirates, that will see him play till the end of 2020/2021 season

Orlando Pirates Football Club can confirm that Happy Jele has signed on the dotted line to extend his stay onboard the Buccaneers ship.

The captain has been rewarded with a contract extension for another season. 

“This is a place I called home since I joined as a 19-year old,” said Jele. “The matter of the contract has never been an issue for me because this is home. I have a very good relationship with the Chairman, the door is always open for me. If ever I have issues, I can always go to him.”

Jele, who will celebrate his 14th season as a Buccaneer when the 2020/21 season kicks off next month, continues to impress in the Black and White jersey.

This past season saw Magents record the second-most minutes played behind goalkeeper Wayne Sandilands which is all testament to his professionalism.
