AS VClub: Jean-Marc Makusu to Join Orlando Pirates on a season loan

Sources close to AS Vita Club confirmed this Sunday the departure of Jean-Marc Makusu to Orlando Pirates of South Africa, on a one-season loan. The Black Dolphins striker was already on the start before his serious injury in May 2019. Concurring sources mentioned a transfer from the former New Bel’Or to the Renaissance Berkane in Morocco. The deal may have been canceled by the time the player sought treatment.

After more than a year, Jean-Marc Makusu is walking on two legs again. He started the season with AS VClub but used very little by Florent Ibenge, as if his move was already in the pipeline. Still according to the same sources, JMM is already in Mandela’s country and expects to make his debut in his new Club, Orlando Pirates, one of the largest in South Africa.
