Miquissone rejects Kaizer Chiefs for a potential move to Al Ahly.

A South African report claims that Simba star Luis Miquissone has rejected Kaizer Chiefs’ offer in order to join CAF Champions League winners Al Ahly.

Miquissone has been linked with Al Ahly for several months now, mainly after his performance in the CAF Champions League, where he netted a winner against the African champions in the group stages.

With the Reds looking to strengthen their attacking options this season, it appears that they have identified Miquissone as one of their main targets.

Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane knows Miquissone quite well as he previously coached him at Mamelodi Sundowns.

Rumor has it that South African outfit and CAF Champions League runner-ups Kaizer Chiefs have also shown interest in the midfielder.

According to KickOff.com, the 26-year-old has opted against the idea of joining Chiefs due to his past experiences in South Africa, which spanned three different clubs.

And it looks like Miquissone is now set for a move to Al Ahly after receiving a call from club president Mahmoud El-Khatib, who communicated with Miquissone personally to show how much the player would be valued with the Red Devils.
