SuperSport respond to Chiefs’ Mbule offer

SuperSport United have given a firm response to reports that Kaizer Chiefs have officially tabled an offer for star midfielder Sipho Mbule.

Mbule’s agent, Mike Makaab confirmed recently in a radio interview that Chiefs are the only club so far to have made an approach for the talented midfielder.

Mbule is also believed to favour the Glamour Boys over Mamelodi Sundowns.

“Chiefs have not tabled an offer for him and even if they did, he is not for sale to any club at all this season,” SuperSport CEO Stan Matthews tells KickOff.

“I can’t comment on what his agent is quoted saying.

“I spoke to his agent this morning and the words “offer from Chiefs” never came up.

“You will have to ask him because all I told him was that Sipho is not for sale to any club until he shines again for SuperSport United.

“Let his performances do the talking instead of his agent.”
